3 Idiots not Five Point Someone

Come Christmas and one can get see who among the three actors (Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi) is the most idiotic one…? Ok, ok jokes apart. People are just waiting for the cold month to come and see this Raju Hirani’s movie, ‘Three Idiots’.
The movie as assumed by most is not exactly based on Chetan Bhagat’s best-seller ‘Five Point Someone’. Raju Hirani, the director who bowled with his Munnabhai series, stated that ‘Three Idiots’ is just an inspiration from the book and it is completely different. Only five percent of the book is the same. The director is of opinion that one can’t make a film out of a book, as both books and films are different.
“People should not go to the theatre thinking, we are going to watch ‘Five Point Someone’ and later find out that it’s a completely different film,” quotes Hirani.

Meanwhile our Perfectionist is busy sweating it out by playing Badminton. A song sequence is on the final shooting-list, where Aamir and Kareena are to be featured. As the days are fast approaching the actor wants to look his body best, who otherwise had gained enough weight during his recent holidays.
Let’s wait for ‘3 Idiots’ to come this December. We mean the movie here now!

Lisa Ray fighting Myeloma

Recently this light-eyed beauty’s blog revealed something sad and tragic about her. Lisa Ray wrote, “I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on June 23rd. Started my first cycle of treatment July 2nd. Not long ago.” But when the model-actress had first heard it from her doctor, Lisa had worn a brave face neither reacting nor crying.
Multiple Myeloma a relatively rare cancer of the bone marrow and is incurable. But Lisa puts it in a motivating attitude, “I believe it can be cured.” Determined to carry on with the normal life, Lisa is now juggling her life between work commitments and treatments.
Lisa Ray was once among the Top 10 Most Beautiful Woman of the Millennium, in a poll conducted by Times of India. ‘Bollywood-Hollywood’ and the controversial ‘Water’ are some of Lisa’s notable movies.

Lolo asked me to do Main Aur Mrs Khanna: Bebo

The news has been going in circles about this forthcoming couple, never before seen together on-screen. He first romanced her didi, now Salman Khan will be featured along with Kareena Kapoor in ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’.
People would find this amusing, but these actors will really portray a coochi-cooing husband-wife in this Prem R. Soni directed movie. The story is based on a couple Samir and Raina who have lost spice in their marriage life. Enter the other man, played by Sohail Khan, to add more trouble to their relationship.
With couple of interesting films with her beau, Kareena is however keen on this one. It is said that her elder sister and actress Karishma had advised her to take this project. “I have been watching Salman since I was nine years old and an earlier movie with him didn't do as expected. But she insisted that I take up Main Aur Mrs Khanna because it had a great script and also because she felt I would look very good with Salman. I trusted her blindly on that,” said the actress to sources.
The movie is expected to be out for Diwali and it is targeted at the younger junta. Let’s wait to watch the coming together of two hot bodies

Priyanka gets married on stage

It was a jaw dropping moment interlaced with great amusement, on sets of ‘Saregamapa Little Stars’, the popular musical competition on Zee TV.

Swarit Nigam, a 10 year contestant, aired his wish to marry our Desi Gal. A sportive Priyanka, candidly said to the kid that if he sings well she would really accept his proposal. The cute fellow sang to her the title song of ‘Mujse Shaadi Karogi’ and handed out to her a rose. What happened next was a hilarious drama that sent the audience and others on sets into laughing ruptures.

Priyanka Chopra went on stage and put a garland on the kid. While the actress covered her face shying like a bride, Swarit was cheered and raised up by his fellow contestants and show kid-comperes. Priyanka even carried her young ‘Pathi Parmeshwar’ and walked the ramp to take him to home. Swarit’s parents were visibly elated and cheering. But the actress put him down saying he has a competition to win there, so she would not take him for the time being. However, she on lighter tone said the young hubby not to forget her now that he is married to her.
Besides Priyanka, Hurman Baweja was the other quest on the show. Both the actors were on the show to promote their forthcoming movie, ‘What’s Your Rashee?’

The Preity woman is back with an item

While the grapevines are buzzing about Bebo-Sallu pairing in ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’, here is another news to spice it up.
The dimpled beauty Priety Zinta has been signed in to be a part of the movie but through an item number. The song, “Happening”, will feature a much slimmer and shimmering Preity, for the bubbly actress is said to have special efforts to tone down through proper diet, strict workouts and yoga.
Ask Preity about her involvement with this song, she said, “It’s an interesting cameo. I agreed to do it because director Prem Soni is a friend. And since Salman has played Prem so often, let’s just say this one is for Prem.” But the director, Prem Soni, says that Preity has more role than just the item in the movie, unlike Aishwarya Rai who had done “Kajra re” in ‘Bunty Aur Babli’.
‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ is a directorial debut of Prem Soni and the movie is co-produced by Sohail Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures. The movie stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sohail Khan.

Allergy robs Bipasha’s eyesight

The bout flu seems to have ceased, but who can stop the minor illness that arrive uninvited. Recently, Bipasha Basu had suffered temporary blindness due to some kind of allergy. It is said that the actress is very sensitive when it comes to her eyes. She has strong eye allergy due to due to dust, flowers, make-up for years. So before putting on any eye make-up she would have medication for her eyes.
Prior to her eye sore, Bips had severer bout of food poisoning while she was shooting in Kadaikudi for Priyadarshan’s movie and was bedridden for a couple of days. In the process she forgot to take any eye medication. During this time her yoga teacher presented her with a ‘Get-well-soon’ bouquet. Bipasha’s eyes swelled up and shut tight the very next day. On being thrilled to receive the bouquet, the actress had held the bouquet close to her face to smell it, and thus experienced the eye problem. The movie team had to cancel her shoot for two days.
Now recalling the incident, Bipasha jovially said, “Earlier too my eye has had problems because of the allergy; this became the baap of all allergies.”
