How does life look to you?I’m single, happy…I love my life.
How single are you?I’m completely, blissfully single. Every hero I work with, I’m linked with. They’ve also been trying to link me with some Italian businessman. They found some half-baked picture on the internet. Rubbish! There’s no Italian or Indian boyfriend. I’m very happy to be alone.
Is it embarrassing to be linked with married men?No! Not when they treat you like a chum. I never let it affect me. I do enjoy the company of men. And I’m not going to get inhibited at the thought of being linked with one of them the next morning.
How’s your equation with Kelly Dorji?Wonderful. We’ve spent so many good years together. No one can take away those from us. Kelly and I know each other too well to drift apart. There’s a lot of mutual respect. And that will always remain.It’s very natural for the hurt to remain between a couple when a relationship as intense as ours ends. For a while, it was natural for both of us to withdraw. But that doesn’t stop us from looking out for each other. A relationship as long-lasting as ours goes way beyond a romantic notion.
Are you looking out for another relationship?No, I’m not. There’s no one whom I’m even remotely interested in. And I’m in no hurry. After nine years, I’m alone. And I’m enjoying it. Right now, I’m so crazy busy. I’m running around like a headless chicken.I’ve just been trying to keep sane (laughs). I’ve been training vigorously for a film that I’m doing with Akshay and Sanju. I’m finally doing an action film. Akshay has asked me to be part of this film. This is a super-actioner. It’s called Blue because the producers wanted to keep it simple.

Karisma Kapoor Desperate To Make A Comeback

With Kareena Kapoor’s career on the upswing, it seems like sister Karisma is feeling a bit left out and wants some attention of her own now.
The once famous actress has stayed out of the spotlight since her wedding to businessman Sanjay Kapoor. But with her sisters face splashed on billboards and every magazine across the country, Karisma is looking to regain her crown as the more skinnier popular of the two.
She’s been looking at scripts and has supposedly signed up for the Hindi remake of a Tamil film, June R, by South director Revathi Varma.

Her insecurity could stem from the fact that her marriage has long been crumbling. While she was still hot, Karisma had moved to Delhi and taken a complete break from Bollywood to be with her man. However things soured between the two, after Karisma started getting a bit too bossy and demanded that Sanjay move to Mumbai on a permanent basis.
Although things have improved between the couple, the actress has made Mumbai her and daughter, Samaira’s base while Sanjay reportedly visits them from time to time.
Coincidentally (or not), June R tells the tale of a special bond between a mother and a daughter.

Iman Issues Fatwa Against Salman Khan

This is just nonsense that no one pays any attention to,” disagrees film critic Parsa Rao. “These fatwas are becoming a joke,” he adds.
Indeed, it is! Not too long ago, Salman was issued his first fatwa for dancing at a Hindu festival last month.
Next up on Sakhawat Khan’s list is unexpecting Shahrukh! “I had no idea that Shahrukh Khan’s statue is also present at Madame Tussauds. If I had known it, I would have also included his name along with Salman’s in my query to the Mufti,” said the doctor with too much time on his hands.

Deepika Padukone’s Latest Victim: Dhoni!

Maneater Deepika Padukone is being linked to so many different men in Bollywood that we’re having a hard time keeping up in blogland! First it was model Nihar Pandya and actor Ranbir Kapoor, but now the latest man to be bowled over by this sultry actress is none other than Indian cricket captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Sources say the Indian skipper has his eyes set on the “Om Shanti Om” star and has even asked his journalist friends if they can hook him up with her! When it was made clear that co-star Shahrukh Khan would be attending the Twenty20 cricket match, the determined cricketer ceased the opportunity to personally invite Deepika as well. Days later, in a not-so subtle move, Dhoni asked SRK if he could be part of the special screening of “Om Shanti Om!”
Dhoni, however, may have to get in line as Deepika is busy feeling vice captain Yuraj Singh’s balls! After a night of hard partying, the duo were seen exiting a nightclub over the weekend. According to sources they share a good rapport “if their body language is any indication.”

Shilpa Shetty Arrested On Obscenity Charges

A few hours ago, Shilpa Shetty, was on her way to the opening of the Miss Bollywood musicial in Berlin when she was arrested at Mumbai Airport on obscenity charges for her public “kiss” with Richard Gere.
Earlier this year, the Hollywood star caused an outcry when he grabbed Shilpa, swept her backwards and planted a kiss several times on her cheek at an AIDS-awareness event. Conservative Hindus claimed that the pair violated the country’s anti-obscenity laws, prompting crowds to burn posters of the two stars in protest at the kiss.
Shortly after the drama, a court issued a warrant for Gere’s arrest and barred Shilpa from leaving the country. A court later overturned this ruling.
Shilpa said, “I can understand something like this if I’d committed a criminal offense. But what was my offense, when I’m just an actor, going to perform a musical on foreign land.” After hours of questioning, a tearful Shilpa was finally released when officials confirmed that the ban had in fact been overturned.

Hypocritical is the word that comes to mind. Bollywood movies are known for its power of the requisite wet sari dance, where it manages to start pouring down raining the minute they launch into a dance routine that leaves nothing to the imagination, but yet we don’t see anyone labelling that as obscene when really vulgarity in Bollywood is increasingly popular.
Or what about when an on-screen couple lips reach the moment of impact when the scene is quickly cut, yet dry humping and grinding against each other is accepted?
We say it’s high time these people come down from their ivory tower of righteousness and get over this ridiculous cry for attention.

Aamir Khan’s New Look

Aamir Khan, 43 years old, debuted a daring new look at the premiere of “Race”, Thursday night, March 20.
The actor explains that his buzz cut isn’t for fun, but rather for a role in the upcoming film “Ghajini”: “This is what I’m going to look after the second part of the film. The character, I’m playing in the film suffers head injuries and you can see some prominent spots in my head,” says Aamir.
He adds: “This is how it’s gonna look and I’m going to keep it like this till the end of the film,” rubbishing rumours that he is going completely bald.
While we generally prefer our men with a little more hair on their heads, we have to respect that Aamir can boldly rock the short ‘n spiky look while he waits for it to grow back!

Gone are the days when the Indian Premiere League was still known as a cricket tournament. If you’re one of those people who is all about the game and don’t like the fact that it’s now being taken over Bollywood, close your eyes or look away now!

Tashan lead actors Anil, Kareena & Saif Ali Khan showed up at Wankhede Stadium, Sunday evening, April 20, to cheer on the ‘Mumbai Indians’ except there wasn’t so much cheering as promoting their film. Apparently Reliance Industries, which owns the Mumbai IPL team, have tied up with Tashan producers, to promote their team while Tashan is looking for a little free publicity of their own!

Unlike the rest of the Tashan crew, Akshay Kumar couldn’t be bothered about being paraded around the stadium like a D-Lister. No, he has bigger things on his plate like being the brand ambassador of Delhi Daredevils! More of his pictures to come.
