Wedding bells for Kim Sharma

Bollywood’s hottie Kim Sharma is going to take the marriage vows in February 2010. According to sources, the actress has decided to marry a professional Spanish singer, Carlos Marin. Carlos is said to be a frontline vocalist and part of Il Divo, a popular Spanish band. Kim made headlines with her break-up with cricketer Yuvraj Singh and now this news is something more scorching.
Sources reveal that the actress will shift permanently to Spain to be with her hubby after marriage. For, the sources say, “Carlos has a promising career unlike Kim’s acting career, which has been declining steeply. It’s only practical that she moves to Spain post-marriage for good.” But Kim is keeping mum about the whole issue. However, she is said to be making preparations for the big day and spreading invite through word of mouth to her close buddies. As of now, she is hopping in and out of Mumbai and Madrid, to spend her time with her would-be, who lives there.

Aamir says ‘Mind it!’

'Quick Gun Murugun' has already won an important fan! The hero of the movie, Dr Rajendra Prasad, has impressed our Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. A special screening of ‘Quick Gun Murugun’ was held recently in the city. And Aamir, who seemed to have got interested with its trailer, had attended it. He has even typed his praises about the movie in his blog, which goes, “Just saw Quick Gun Murugun. Really enjoyed it. I think fans of the Channel [V] character Quick Gun Murugan will love it. It's got so many rib-cracking moments. And a very well-pitched performance by lead actor Dr Rajendra Prasad, and all the other cast. It's releasing on 28th so don't miss it if you are a Quick Gun fan.... Mind it!”
Now, that’s an important verdict for the movie! 'Quick Gun Murugun' is a hilarious story based on a South Indian cowboy and his adventures. People seem to have already hooked on Murugan’s punch dialogues through the trailers and looks like the movie will attract the box office.
So about the movie’s release – It’s 28th August! Mind it!

Sonam turns busy with two

Sonam Kapoor, with her charismatic appeal in ‘Delhi-6’ has captured the hearts of young lads. Moreover, it’s a limitless mania about Sonam that’s running high into the lanes of tinsel town. Now, the actress has been shooting simultaneously for two films: Dharma Productions’ ‘I Hate Love Stories’ and her home production ‘Ayesha’.
Buoyed up with enthusiasms, Sonam is in the Capital City shooting for ‘Ayesha’- a film based on Jane Austen’s ‘Emma’. The film directed by Rajshri Ojha will be shot extensively across the locales of Old and New Delhi. Soon after completing her 45-day hectic schedule of ‘Ayesha’, she will fly back to Mumbai shooting for ‘I Hate Love Stories’ featuring her alongside Imran Khan and Sammir Dattani.
"Much contrary to the title, this film will be a new-fangled love story with unexpected twists and turns" adds debutante director Puneeth Malhotra, relative of costume designer Manish Malhotra.

Shah Rukh’s movie this year

The year won’t end without our Baadshah’s movie! Come November 13th and ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ will be hitting the screens.
‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Fardeen Khan, Johny Lever and Tara Sharma. It is directed by Muddassar Aziz and produced by Vivek Vaswani. After much delay due to financial crisis, the movie is confirmed to release this year. Vivek Vaswani has assured that this is the final release date for the film. Vivek revealed to sources, “We are getting our entire promotional plan in place for the film now. Come September and we would begin painting the town red with Dulha Mil Gaya.”
It is said that King Khan will only do a special appearance for the movie through a lengthy song sequence. The movie is extensively shot in Trinidad and Tobago.
Rumours are already making round of the movie’s sequel, ‘Dulhe Ka Divorce’.
Well, first let’s see how ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ will fare. For the time being, the movie is surely going to be a rejoice for SRK fans.

Shilpa’s unique way of homage

British TV reality show ‘Big Brother’ became a household name after Shilpa Shetty stepped in to participate. We are well aware about the spat between the playmates Shilpa and Jade Goody. A racist controversy was set off when Jade called our diva ‘Shilpa Poppa-dom’. But the animosity between the two gradually died once the show was over. Jade Goody passed away this March after diagnosed with cervical cancer. Now, Shilpa Shetty has set out to make Jade’s name more memorable.
The actress has made plans to introduce her own brand of Indian healthy food items that include side dishes and curries. In the reality show, the contestants had accused Shilpa’s chicken curry as under-cooked and with excessive onions. Now, the actress will include the same in her menu.
According to sources, “Shilpa thinks Jade will have a little chuckle in heaven about the poppadoms. She has been inundated with requests for her curry recipe and one day she just thought: ‘Why don’t I just create my own range?’ One of Shilpa’s passions in life is healthy living so she wanted to incorporate that into her dishes.”
Hmm, all we can do now is to call this a yummy tribute!

Ranbir & Kat – The new comedy pair

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ will bring together Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif for the first time. The two will be cooking up comedy together in this Rajkumar Santoshi film.
The movie is co-written by Rajkumar Santoshi and R. D. Tailang. Tinu Verma handles the cinematography while Ahmed Khan has done the choreography. The music scores are done by Pritam and the movie is produced by Ramesh S Taurani. Supporting the lead pair are Upen Patel, Asrani, Smita Jaykar, Navneet Nishan, Govind Namdeo and others. It is said that Salman Khan will be doing a special appearance in the movie.
This romantic comedy is said to be quite different from usual Rajkumar Santoshi movies, who had earlier given us serious movies like ‘Pukar’, ‘Lajja’, ‘Ghatak’, ‘Damini’ and many more. But he is the same person who gave the popular rib-tickling ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. Let’s see how he will capture us this time with Ranbir and Kat.
‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ is said to hit the big screens on 6th November 2009.

Minissha throws a surprise!

The petite Minissha Lamba sure knows how to win over her friends. Due to her tight schedule, the actress has very little time for friends, but even in that tight schedule, she sure knows how to make the best of it!
Recently, Minissha’s best friend was all set to celebrate her birthday but due to Minissha’s unavailability gave it a miss! This dampened the actress’s spirits and she then decided to make it up to her best buddy!
Being the doting friend that she is, she instantly started planning a surprise birthday party for her best friend! She planned a full-fledged party with a “Bond” theme. The actress invited around 50 people and the venue was a common friend’s place in Juhu!
All the planning was kept hush-hush from her best friend and it’s needless to say; her best friend was sure surprised and pleased!
