The Gollapudi Srinivas National award will be presented on 12 August at a function in Chennai to filmmaker Paresh Mokashi for his movie Harish Chandrachi Factory (Marathi) by veteran actress Rekha and Oscar award winner Resul Pookutty.
The guests of honor include Rakesh Mehra (director of Rang de Basanti) and Nagesh Kukunoor. Shruthi Haasan, daughter of Kamal Haasan will be the master of ceremony.
The entertainment for the evening will be provided by Dr K J Yesudas. The film was selected from 19 nominations from across the country by a jury consisting of Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, Kalyanaraman and Gollapudi Maruthi Rao
