British TV reality show ‘Big Brother’ became a household name after Shilpa Shetty stepped in to participate. We are well aware about the spat between the playmates Shilpa and Jade Goody. A racist controversy was set off when Jade called our diva ‘Shilpa Poppa-dom’. But the animosity between the two gradually died once the show was over. Jade Goody passed away this March after diagnosed with cervical cancer. Now, Shilpa Shetty has set out to make Jade’s name more memorable.
The actress has made plans to introduce her own brand of Indian healthy food items that include side dishes and curries. In the reality show, the contestants had accused Shilpa’s chicken curry as under-cooked and with excessive onions. Now, the actress will include the same in her menu.
According to sources, “Shilpa thinks Jade will have a little chuckle in heaven about the poppadoms. She has been inundated with requests for her curry recipe and one day she just thought: ‘Why don’t I just create my own range?’ One of Shilpa’s passions in life is healthy living so she wanted to incorporate that into her dishes.”
Hmm, all we can do now is to call this a yummy tribute!
