Maybe, not opted by Imtiaz for Saif’s first home production ‘Love Aaj Kal’ would’ve got her trenched in disappointments. But she seems to be much vividly working for her best in Saif’s next production ‘Agent Vinod’. Out of the blue, she wouldn’t be spotted romancing her real life-beau.
Well, for a greater surprise, her persona in a vamp-kind of role where she’s supporting baddies would be something off-the-wall characterization in her career.
‘Agent Vinod’ directed by Sridhar Raghavan, the spy-thriller does feature her in such a role that protagonist turns more perplexed about ‘To trust or not to trust’ situation.
The film will hit the floors lately by year-end all over the world as the story revolves around serial murder mysteries across London, Uzbekistan and Hamburg. As one of the Indian agent escapes from the clutches of baddies for spying, he informs about their plans of attack on India. This is where we’ve Agent Vinod stepping into the scene.

Aamir- The modern-day Hanuman

How about Aamir Khan enacting ‘modern-day Hanuman’ in Mani Rathnam’s modernized tale of ‘Raavan’? Fantastic, isn’t? But let’s not get along with our own imaginations as Mr. Perfectionist hasn’t got over any offers from Mani Rathnam.
This is all about Aamir’s role of modern-day Hanuman role in producer Uru Patel’s film on Hanuman. Earlier, a Japanese actor was supposed to perform the flamboyant role as the character demands over mastery over martial skills of flipping and swaying through the air and space.
The offer for this graciously appealing role has passed over to the hands of Aamir Khan. According to the closer sources, the actor will sign the deal only after reading through entire script. Much specifically, Mr. Perfectionist has insisted about his signature in each page of full-bound script to ensure no changes are made latter in shooting.
Rama and Raavan roles will be performed by Hollywood superstars Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldman respectively. Earlier, Shilpa Shetty was supposed to be casted for ‘Sita’ and hunt is now over an international face.
The task of wielding megaphone has now passed on from Louis Mandoki to Chuck Russell as he’s well versed with such genres and Hindi language as well.

Priyanka miffed over Kat?

Here is a buzz that is not exactly a cat-mouse game, but it’s based on a healthy competition.
The news is hazed but yet floating in the industry that Priyanka Chopra has developed cold shoulder for Katrina Kaif. It seems she was unhappy with the news that Kat has been approached for the sequel of ‘Dostana’.
But Piggy Chops rubbished it saying that it is not at all true. Her competition stands against everyone one and not with just one person. But most important she would compete with herself. "As for the Dostana sequel", she said, "I walked off into the sunset with Bobby, remember? It’s Abhishek and John who’re the couple there. So their story continues. I’m not even sure if the script is ready."
Well, she’s got there a point! Hmm, now it’s up to us to imagine the ravishing Katrina with the ‘Dostana couple’!

Kangna to crop her locks

The hot babe of ‘Fashion’ is going for an image make-over soon for her next project. We are talking about Kangna Ranaut. The actress has accepted an untitled project of director Mani Shankar. Kangna who is well known for her glamorous roles, will face the camera as a journalist. She is quite excited about playing the role for the first time and will be co-starring with Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan.
Sources said, “Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan are the two key characters as government agents from different walks of life who come together to raise Rs 32,000 crore in two hours. Kangna, who has a great fashion sense and is known to always experiment with her roles, is very excited about her different look in the film. She will be chopping off her trademark curly tresses and sport a short hairstyle to look like Barkha Dutt.”

Bipasha turns down Shilpa’s movie

The news is making it rounds that sensuous Shilpa Shetty will be soon producing a movie along with her equally sexy sis Shamita Shetty. The movie is said to be an action flick and the producers were keen to cast Bipasha Basu. But the actress refused the offer, as she was busy with other work commitments. Sources said, “Shilpa and Shamita have two very different mindsets and they often have creative differences. Shilpa was quite excited about Bipasha in the action film but when she couldn't get her dates, she lost interest. However, Shamita was keen on keeping the project alive with another leading lady. The two had an argument over the same.”
Meanwhile the sisters are looking out for a script before they finalise their production plans. Shamita stated that currently they are open to make anything that’s interesting maybe a good comedy or a thriller.

SRK to walk the ramp for Karan

After designing costumes for his favourite actor Shah Rukh for a dozen of years, Karan Johar is officially going to launch his own line of clothing. The famed filmmaker will bring his prêt collection along with noted fashion designer Varun Bahl.
Karan Johar said to sources, “I have been designing for Shah Rukh Khan for 12 years and it is a given that he will be part of my first collection. It will be a menswear collection and will have several other elements which will be a pleasant surprise but I am still in the process of finalising these and so can’t comment at the moment.”
According to sources, Karan’s collection will be launched on October 16th in the Couture week. The stars who are going to showcase Karan’s clothing include Imran Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and the show-stopper of the show - Shah Rukh Khan. His wife too will walk the ramp and would be the only female model on the show.

Priyanka now a Green Ambassador

People looked up to this actress for her fashionable image. Now on, they will follow her for a noble cause. Priyanka Chopra has been chosen as a brand ambassador by NDTV for their Greenathon 2. She will now be seen encouraging people to conserve the environment and create awareness about global warming.
About the campaign, the actress said, “This is a fantastic initiative. I’m a part of the young generation who questions almost everything. But we need to understand that it takes little things for something to become big”. With her involvement Priyanka hopes to garner young India's support in making a positive, discernible difference.
An environmental conscious, Priyanka makes it an effort to incorporate as much as she can into everyday life. “I have even tried to ensure that my team and everyone in my house also make the effort. I'm learning something new about the environment everyday and I am trying to put many things into practice. My association with this Greenathon is also a step in that direction!” said the beauty to the sources.
