Rani waits for action

Dil bole haye rabba!
The hype and promos didn’t work in favour of the recent YRF’s release. In spite of the heroine’s attempt to play a munda, didn’t go down well with the audience. ‘Dil Bole Haddipa’ sadly missed the target.
But our Rani is not visibly depressed. With her bubby attitude she still seems to maintain confidence to prove herself next time. Though Rani found a very challenging role in playing a boy, the critics didn’t seem to have given it their words.
She played it very low before DBH, keeping away from the scenario; and she justified it as her preparations in giving her hundred percent to the viewers.
With never-give-up attitude, Rani is looking ahead for her next shot. She seems to ruminating over the idea to give some action next. It is said that the actress is fascinated with the martial art culture, especially of south and Punjabi ones and wants to try highlighting it. Said the light eyed beauty, “I like giving my audience their paisa vasooli.
I want to do an action film which will get my adrenaline high, do something I have never done before. I want to do a real Indian martial art film. We have a martial art culture down south and even Punjabi martial art is so interesting.”
Being a feel-good-movie freak, one can see her more in romantic comedies. But now Rani is determined to push herself for more difficult roles.
Hmmm, God please add Thoda Magic and make Rani’s career from Black to colours

How Lara overcame hydrophobia?

Sounds quite interesting as a film puts an end to a phobia that persisted right from her childhood, isn’t? Lara Dutta had felt that her life is at big stake when she was offered with underwater adventure ‘BLUE’. But, as astonishment of disbelief, the actress has become a professional diver after completing her biggest magnum opus ‘BLUE’. Indeed, the 31-yr old actress seems to be relieved from hydrophobia.
“Thanks to Ko Samui (Thailand),” says Lara who trained her to be a professional diver. Andrew D’Souza, director of ‘Blue’ had approached him to train the actors.
Unlike her previous films, Lara Dutta will have more prominence in this flick. Of course, there are whole lots of stunt sequences performed by her.
The multi-starrer film is all set to hit screens on Oct 16 for the occasion of Diwali

Hereon one can see this oomph beauty more in bare waist. Koena Mitra had got few tattoos done on her waist, finger and recently on ankle. She is sporting a tattooed belly chain on her waist and the word Love on her ring finger.

According to sources, she said the belly chain tattoo took over seven hours while she had to take several breaks for doing the ankle tattoo. It was more painful as it was made over bone and muscle, she recalled.Talking about her ankle tattoo, Koena said, “It is red and black. It's like a chain with the thorns in the shape of spiky hearts in the knots. I didn't want to do a big tattoo or faces or motifs. This way, I can keep them hidden when I want to.” This is said to be her first coloured tattoo. The sexy siren doesn’t like wearing jewels everyday so she felt that the anklet tattoo would serve more like jewellery.

Ouch! That was really a painful yet innovative idea, Koena

Aamir’s special screening for ‘3 idiots’

It’s worth ennobling Aamir Khan as ‘3 Idiots’ for his very mere unique nature of handling his each project. Irrespective of the film being his own banner or anyone, filmmaker or producer, Aamir Khan completely believes in ‘Picture Perfect’ formulas.
Although ‘3 Idiots’ isn’t Aamir’s home production, Aamir Khan has been vividly focusing for film’s best results. According to the sources, he has been holding special screening of the film for his close group of circles and friends.
Of course, he urged them to revert with their feedbacks and accordingly modifications. Naturally, this is to make certain changes if situations arise.
As known earlier, Aamir Khan has planned to release the film for Christmas as alike his previous films ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and ‘Ghajini’.
The film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘Five point someone’ which revolves around the lives of three unsuccessful IIT students and their encounters

Item song? Not “Happening”: Preity

The “Happening” song of ‘Mein or Mrs. Khanna’ is really turning out to be happening among the junta. Preity Zinta is truly looking refreshing and ravishing as ever in the song. But she has only one qualm. Preity is not in favour of people calling it as an ‘item song’. She stated that the song was an outcome of lot of hard work and dedication. It is said to be brought out with an aesthetical sense and is in fact a fun song. Preity felt that it is not a good idea to call it an item song even before the film has released.
Echoing her complain, director Prem Soni too claimed that it is not fair to give “Happening” an item tag. He said that Preity agreed to do be a part of the movie as a token of friendship for Salman and gave her consent to do a fun, dance number.
Justifying her role in the movie, Soni reaveled, “Preity plays Hasina Jagmagiya. It is a character which goes into the song Happening. Her character is very integral to the story as she is the one who leads to the climax.”
Taking into consideration that this is something that Preity has done for first time, one should call “Happening” as her comeback song. What’s your take, eh?

Blue’ now in pen drive

Modern technology is taking life along with it on a hi-fi ride. And movies are among those which use the latest upgraded technology.
Debut director Anthony D’Souza’s ‘Blue’ is making the right sounds these days. Underwater stunts, Hollywood artist, impressive cast, striking music and… its pen drive! Didn’t follow it? Well, recently the movie launched the audio on pen drives and memory chips! Yes, the movie has touched the height of innovation for the first time with this idea.
A production of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd., ‘Blue’ is labelled under T- Series. The audio was launched by Oscar winner and AR Rahman (music director of ‘Blue’), Akshay Kumar and Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series. The Maestro from Madras was overwhelmed at Blue’s idea of bringing out the music in such a novel way. He exclaimed, “This is fantastic. What one must ensure is that the sound is of the highest quality. Anything new is exciting for people and those, who believe in owning legitimate music, would be excited by this product. It is also a gate opener for future expansions, because right now the music is going to have MP3 quality and then in future it could have more high quality WAV files like 96 k, 24 bit and people will definitely enjoy probably four times better than a CD quality of music. So this is a great starting point.”
Even the Akki was amused with this innovative album. According to sources, Akki said, “After the pen drive, we’ll perhaps have the music album in an injection form. All you need to do is to prick the needle and you’ll break into song.”
Wow, now that’s what we call truly out of blue
