She is sweet, charming and impressive! Tulip Joshi may have not given BO hits but she has surely grasped a seat for herself in this big glittering town.
With her debut ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’, people were hopefully that this lady will make it big, for the movie was from the YRF banner. But her fragrance was just spread mildly in Bollywood, until it was noticed in ‘Mathrubhoomi’. With the tagline that goes ‘A nation without women’, ‘Mathrubhoomi’ brought out a remarkable actor from Tulip and the made people to sit up take notice of this innocent looking beauty.
But her films which came after this couldn’t attract much attention and the actress is not bothered about success. What matters is the diversity in the roles she plays. For she said, “I am searching for different roles always and I refuse to repeat myself. Maybe that is why my career graph has been slightly strange.” Tulip doesn’t want to be a typecast and that one can see through her choice of films so far.
Her recent movie ‘Daddy Cool’ might have not got the response as expected but we don’t think Tulip will play it low and we really wish this actress makes it up one fine day. Aamir is become the new animated face for the popular drink Coca-Cola. The brand ambassador of Coco-Cola, Aamir is really impressed with his new animated avatar and hopes that his like him in the ad as well. Aamir stated, “It is a very interesting concept as for the first time my features have been replicated as an animated character through special effects. I think the robotic animated look has really come out well in the film.”
Based on the concept ‘Open Happiness’, the ad is the effort of ad filmmaker-lyricist Prasoon Joshi and creative guru Ashish Chakravarty.

Confused young person of 2009: Ayesha Takia

The chulbuli actress of ‘Wanted’ seems to be enjoying her career post marriage. Having Salman as her co-star in the movie, Ayesha Takia is really excited for its release. With the movie she carries a promise to carry on her acting work further.
Now, our cute lady has also confirmed about her stay in filmdom through her website jottings. She has typed, “Hey people, I just wanna make it clear that I will be doing lots more films! I love films and will continue to do them.” As on now Ayesha has no plans to retire and will be seen in couple of movies after ‘Wanted’. She has ‘Paathshaala’ with Shahid Kapoor and Revathy Verma’s ‘Aap Ke Liye Hum’ with Jaya Bachchan.
Ayesha lives by the characters she plays in movies. In fact she says that she feels like any other who has dreams and aspirations. “I contemplate and am on the fence about a lot of things! I’ve just realized that I’m a normal, confused young person of 2009... by normal I mean real and someone who is sometimes confused and doesn’t decide in an instant!” pips in the actress.
Well, we really hope she is firm on her career decisions, for we don’t want to let go of such an adorable actress!

Rumours have spoiled Rani’s career

The young jovial actress finds herself despaired with the very-often popping up rumours about her marriage. Indeed, the actress openly confesses that such so-called rumours on her nuptials have started ruining her career.
Recently in a press meet, Rani Mukherji clearly uttered, “For three years, these rumours about my nuptials have started affecting my career. To be precise, the filmmakers who approach me with excellent scripts find themselves boggled doubting whether I would remain committed to their projects.”
On the task of disentangling, Rani further added that she’s the only daughter to her parents and will surely let everyone when she’s getting married. As well the actress totted up mirthfully on the rumours stating that she has vacated her posh Juhu Bungalow due to ill-luck and shifted back to her old house in Andheri.

Ranbir, Deepika aur Mera Jahaan

You thought this couple in love would have drifted apart career-wise, taking different movies. But the birdies say that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will again share screen in Vikram Singh's ‘Mera Jahaan’ soon.
‘Mera Jahaan’ will be produced under Sameer Rattonsey's banner, Cinema Paradiso. Guess what Ranbir is said to wear two different looks – one of an old man and the other as a young one – each for two different eras!
As the title denotes, the movie is said to be based on a comic book writer who is lives in a world of his own. Phsst, it seems the movie will have two leading ladies.
Hmm, looks like Ranbir is mostly being offered with a dreamy-boy’s role. And whenever his lady-love is the movie, he has another choice on sets… Remember ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’?

‘Save the Children’: Priyanka Chopra

Recently she became a Green Queen. Meaning was chosen as a brand ambassador for promoting the ‘Save Environment’ campaign by NDTV. And now Priyanka Chopra has volunteered to support the international organisation called ‘Save the Children’. The organisation has introduced a campaign, ‘Rewrite the Future’, that aids in reforming the lives of underprivileged children of 100 countries.
Talking about the organisation, Priyanka said, “Save the Children is associated with about 11 states in India. I hope at some point of time to be able to visit at all places where Save the Children works and see for myself how much help I can be of and also in every possible way create awareness about how important education is in our country.”

Akki-Anushka Rishi-Dimple, all in Patiala House!

Looks like our daring boy has tough time on his legs running from one shoot to other. Already Akshay Kumar has a series of movies on which he is currently working on – ‘De Dhana Dan’, ‘Houseful’, ‘Action Replay’, ‘Helloo India’, ‘Khatta Meetha’… Phew! And now here is a new one to that list… Director Nikhil Advani is coming-up with a new movie titled, ‘Patiala House’. In this our Akki will be paired opposite to the charming ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ gal Anushka Sharma!
Interestingly the movie is said to be roping in another pair that was a hit of 70-80s. Talks are going on that Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will be also featured in this one. Though Rishiji is confirmed for the project, Ms Kapadia is busy in her personal works so is delaying to give her consent.
‘Patiala House’ will be produced by Mukesh Talreja and its music will be done by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The first shooting schedule has be planned in India from December, sources say, while the next one would be in London which is expected to go on from May till June end. About the movie, the director said that it is a father-son story. The son gives up his dream to save his father's reputation, until he meets a girl who gives him the strength to stand up for what he believes. It's about second chances.
Well, now if Dimple signs on the dotted line for this movie, then she would share the screen with her Jamayi Akshay for the first time. And also, this would be her fourth movie with Chintuji!
